Well, very disappointing news when things have been going so incredibly well with the surprisingly vbac procedure and what I thought bf was going good. My pain has been manageable with just alieve and not too extremely tired, baby e has jaundice as Alexus did but lost 15% of her weight. The hospital is very crowded so I got discharged but microbit has to stay n tanning bed and supplement. here we go. This stress makes one want to just give up trying to breast feed. Didn't find out if I could get a courtesy room til bout 5pm and still in my room 317 waiting to clean a courtesy room in pedriatric right across nursery. So we started supplementing first with a bottle and she downed it. of course next time on the breast, she wouldn't even close down on it. So after talking with Kay, our bf class teacher, she said no more none breast supplement to use so we got the syringe and tub thing.. that worked pretty good. So its 8pm and still waiting for the courtesy room just so I can stay and feed my sweetheart. But I can tell she is getting better. She is more alert when the bring her for a feeding every three hours. She is less yellow. I have been pumping after feeding her. Got like one ml the first time but SEVEN the second. i was excited about that. i'm ready to be home with Alexus. I am missing her terribly especially since I only get a half hour of frustrated feeding with Eva til tomorrow. They will test her biliruben levels overnight and in the morning and weigh her. She was 6.6 this morning. See why we call her "microbit"?
