Happy St. Patty's

Well, today would have been Eva's birthday had she n God not had other plans for us. I'm grateful for how she came early with no c-section necessary. My recovery has gone so much smoother. After a REALLY bad day on Monday, today and yesterday was much more relaxed n smooth. I only went to target and walmart for a bit yesterday and today didn't even step outside til I needed some fresh air at sunset when alexus and her daddy had left to check out the new town library. Today was Eva's first bath at home. She did SO much better than Alexus barely cried even when her daddy put her head under the running water. I remember Alexus first bath I was so stressed b/c she cried so much. She n sissy dressed up in their green and took some pics together. Bill has been telecommuting so it has really helped with all the feedings. Oh, how I pray that they'll be no supplementing, no SNS system, no pumping one day. Tomorrow he will go in the am for a meeting. Then p.m we will have to take her back to hospital for more routine tests.

Monday was just horrible. We have a pede appt at 10am and we waited 1.5 hours with a full waiting room of sick people. N patient after patient that came in was being seen before us. I finally called down dr. knapp n asked what the problem was and broke down from the stress. We then went to our lactation consult til after 1pm and hadn't eaten. I was stressed and upset to the T. We didn't get home til 4pm. I did get a little rest finally around 5 pm.

I am grateful for the friends I've made since I stopped working full-time. i remember when I didn't work that 1.5 years I was kind of depressed b/c it was hard to make friends that you didn't have to interact with like in a work setting. Well my efforts have paid off and we have been so grateful for the friends that have been supportive by bringing meals, helping with Alexus etc.
