What a blessed day!

Well I couldn't ask for a better day with my 'minkey' than we had together today. After almost a week ago, I prayed things would get better. If all days could be like today. We started the day going to her second to last dance class at the rec center. Then we had my oil change and tires rotated. Though there was no wait it took over an hour and half. Almost til noon and Alexus was an angel. She blayed with a little ball, colored some and just played around. At the end she started taking money out of my purse but that wasn't a big deal...luckily I found my $5 dollars in the trash. We went to McDonalds for lunch I hoped she would of played hard before a nap but she mostly played in the toddler away and their video games n didn't each much. We got home and it took her about an hour to get to nap but with a threat of no swimming or face painting this evening she finally slept. About 3.15 I woke her up and she woke up so sweet. usually she is a grump and wants to lay on you about 30 minutes before she moves. We hurried over to her friend Tanners to have a quick swim before he had a baseball game. We went to CFA as we have so many tuesdays nights b/c daddy is usually not home for dinner on Tuesdays. They have free kids meals and special treat for little ones. We've managed to go to 3 or 4 times for the face painting...pics later. We were there so early we didn' thave to wait as we normally do and were there almost two hours. We got home had a bath with no misbehaving! She watched tv pretty late. I guess the coffee I had late gave me motivation to de-clutter some. I worked on the mail and stuff on the kitchen counter and really purged her coloring and games area in the kitchen. I also did a bit in her room. So she didn't get to bed to almost 9pm but she watch wow wow wuzby without a word. She is in the 'why' but why' stage now. I told her how happy I was with her today b/c of how well she behaved. I said she would get a surprise tomorrow after work/school. THe other totally cute thing she has been doing for last 3 or 4 mths is while i pat her she'll put her arm on me and say "I love you" w/o me saying anything first. the other adorable thing is when we prayed she asked, "where is God. Can I see him?" "I want to give him a high five". How I pray there will be more days like this.
