Fireworks on the 3rd

We had a blast seeing the fireworks at the local town square. Though temps were over the hundreds, we went later in the evening and walked around to get dinner, a temp tatoo and balloon animals and join our friends the Attels. They stayed at the hilton and we sat out there by the lake. It was a great place to be for the show. You could walk right up and get food, drinks, hear all the great retro music and the kids could run around and play. Alexus was at first scared by the fireworks but awed by them later. We didn't get home til almost 11pm. Alexus loved her flag and glow sticks that her friends gave her. It was cute to see them do the Pledge of Allegience together
