I LOVE A PARADE

We went to a parade at a neighboring city. I bribed ALexus to wear this adorable dress for the 4th. I said they would only throw her candy if she wore this (holding it). So she was all about wearing it. It is a good small town parade. Had firetrucks, horses, cheerleaders, floats and lots of candy. We did it last year too. Afterwards, they had free hotdogs, chips and drinks at the community pool. That was really fun too b/c it was free and something different. They had a kiddie pool with a big slide, beach area and a mushroom falls. She napped later b/c she didn't wake til like 8:30 after all the fun the night before...,party girl! Grammy Karen and GG Carlson came over along with our friends the attel's again. Bill cooked yummy ribs with Sweet Baby Rays bbq sauce (finger linkin good) and hamburgers and hot dogs. The kids swim in the inflatable pool and we did water balloons. they had a blast...lots of running and screaming and another late night. Shaun and Alexus took turns driving her Jeep around, It was so cute. Whew, Alexus you were a bear getting to bed you were so tired.
