Fun Fourth Weekend

well, we had some major plans this weekend that already got botched by hurricane alex. Ironic name huh? anyway, we had a big date night planned to go to see Sox vs Rangers at the ballpark. The sheets of rain coming down delayed game til 9:30 pm. There is no way I could stay out and up til one am to see fireworks and the game. We went to humperdinks and waited for the game and played trivia...it was a fun date but not what were planning. It was also like the 2nd time I've left eva with a sitter other than my mom. So it was quite the bummer. Today we had a bday party, Katelyn's Lil Mermaid party. IT was suppose to be a swim party but H Alex messed that up too. Mr. Music Guy from the kid's school was there and he was really fun. Jacob and Hannah were there plus the twins alexus went to her old day care with two years ago. The ironic thing is they go to the same school as Alexus but the one in NRH. I finally got Alexus down for nap...wish I could sleep but alot on my mind. Let's pray the fireworks happen b/c we'll go to the next city over's festival at town square. our friends have a hotel room overlooking the fireworks so we can seek shelter from alexus or take a break if needed. Tomorrow we have a bbq party at the Lewis's so its a busy weekend. Last week Alexus went to the movie thurs...Alvin and chipmunks and then played at CM. Tues she went to see Toy Story with Grammy and cfa for lunch. It was a rough week with her. She is still really not listening and temper tantrums. Her daddy and I are praying and praying for patience and guidance b/c its so easy to lose it. Eva is really smiling, babbling and grabbing things now. She is trying to sit up when in her bouncy seat. I got some really cute pics in the outfits the girls got yesterday from "A-NUT". that's a cute story from another day but basically its a friend of Rita's (bills mom). The rain also cancelled the make up swim class so that is 3 swim classes they had to cancel due to rain this week...good thing though...its been cooler...yeah!
