Eva's Big News

Well, Eva had her well exam and shots on Tuesday. I thought she'd weigh a bit over 14lbs but to my SURPRISE, she weights 16lbs! That's 90%ile. Her growth chart is pictured .Can you believe when we brought her home for weeks she was at the bottom 10%??? Wow, is all we can say. NO wonder my back hurts every day. Combine our 'chub rock' and the infant seat carrier you are looking at 20lbs. In her defense, she is 25 inches long which is 75%tile. Alexus as always 50% in weight and height. So I hope Eva has the 'tall' gene Bill and I didn't get from the rest of our families. Alexus was almost 14lbs n 24 in. at this time in her life. SHe also got shots...always breaks my heart. She was fine and slept shortly afterwards. We went to Alexus make up swim lesson and lunch and she was fine but awake. But the bottom dropped out when feeding time came at 1pm at home. She was so inconsolable fussy. It took suckling and about a half hour for her to stop screaming. Penny said she was fussy yesterday too. She's pretty good today though. I want to stay home today n let her rest. Tues p.m. a friend from church that was the head of the mentees in the mentor program at church brought her two boys over. They are 2 n 5. She tried to help me use our expresso latte machine we bought years ago but after almost an hour of trying it was a flop. Last night I got a perm...just a body wave b/c my hair has absolutely no body after having eva. Smells wonderful..not.
