Strawberry Hemangioma (Infantile Hemangioma)

Some of you may have seen our baby's Strawberry on her right breast and wondered. Here is a link with more information. Its very accurate in that it wasn't there at all til we got home from hospital and has gotten bigger. i'm very happy its not on her face like some of the pictures you see. Her peditrician says there's no need for concern and it will likely get bigger and fade away by age 5. Here is another blurb about them from parents magazine website. Strawberry hemangiomas, a collection of blood cells, while they are technically birth marks, are often not noticed at birth. In fact, they usually do not become obvious until the first few weeks of life. they undergo rapid growth over the first six to ten months of life but fade by age 5 to 7.

You can see it in pic below n she looks too cute inthe strawberry romper my mom gave her for Easter. She's our little strawberry baby n we adore the sweet thing!
