Baby Dedication

Whew what a whirlwind tiring fast weekend. Friday, my mom and friend becky helped me with a garage sale. We made like $65. Bill surprised me wiht a sitter to come hang out with Alexus but I didn't really feel like going anywhere b/c I was in my jammies and n eva has been pretty fussy at this time not making for that much of a relaxing evening out. We ordered in. Saturday more garage sale not really making but $50 or so but got rid of some stuff but left with alot. I did score 3 princess dress up gowns for Alexus at a neighbor's sale for $4 total. We went to Ms. Kristine's son's bday party. Alexus had a bad tummy ache n didn't play much at her soccer game. Of course, better for the party. We got there bout an hour late right when the clown came. She was funny and then the bounce house. It was then Alexus warmed up to miss Kristine. we stayed over an hour. We went to the Lewis's for a cookout. Sunday was Eva's baby dedication. Of course, we were under the gun after waking up late to get there but we made it there almost before anyone. We forgot baby's clothes in the car and figured that out at the last minute. But made it. It was sweet. She got a certificate in a child's bible. Isaih 46:4 was the verse we chose and the pic of her with the big chocolate flower we took 2 weeks ago. Afterwards we sat in the cafe and had a very pleasant surprise. Kay and Scott South were there too. We, especially Alexus was so excited to see her and she got to see the baby and it was so nice to catch up with our old small team leaders and Alexus school teacher for two years. After nap, we went to Arts fest and the Lewis happen to be going at the exact time. So the girls got a face paint and did some jump houses. Alexus walked around with me to see the art and then we had a burger. Daddy stayed home with eva so it was nice to be just me and the mink. Then home and picked up some of the garage sales stuff so we can donate. Tiring weekend. Went by so fast.
