We lost our precious Uncle George on Sunday but it was a blessing in many ways because of his long fight w/ Alzheimers. I don't think he could even breath or eat on his own. Most of the family had been together for a wedding in san antonio when it happened. So quickly they had the viewing and memorial service. I was SO happy I was able to go. Bill had to travel on thursday so it worked out that he'd watch the girls . But I wouldn't have missed it for anything. THough the wonderful man had 16 grandkids and 13 great grandkids, he treated me like one too. He walked me down the aisle and was at every momentus occasion of mine too. I know he's in a much better place now w/ Honey but I feel really bad for narcissus. she loved that man so and they were such a shining example of love and marriage. THe memorial service was just beautiful. Both Micheal and Brittany Carameros spoke and they were truly led by the Lord in their words....just perfect and special in every way. How Great thou Art song reminded me of my precious grandparents. I also hear my grandmother's beautiful voice as its song. So glad I made and it and I got to meet many of those grandchildren who I've never met or only met once when they were really small. Cathy's oldest was really good to me including me in the family stuff theough I don't remember her much. I liked meeting Alan Carameros who lives in the FW area too.
