Cowboy Chow, Women of Faith and UJ

Wow...what a crzy busy weekend. So busy, I cannot even remember what we did last week. I know Friday was a super long day. I was at work by 7am. I completed 3 training online classes that were mandatory at work. Then, I went to a CPE class at Cabela's got home and rode w/ Alexus's school friends mom to the Women of Faith conference night session. It was really good. Her and I were roomies and got to bed super late. Next day back at the conference. It was an incredibly emotional day. SOme of the skits they did felt like it was me word for word. Sheila Wash is incredible and spoke to me about trusting God and Mary Mary was just an incredible funky group that I loved. It was about 9 or 10 ladies that went, several neighbors. I so needed it. I've felt so far apart from God lately. I used to at least watch Joyce every day or was in bible study. Though I pray daily I don't hear, study or read his word like I used. N with two small children is when I need him the most probaly. Need I say patience? I am going to join a Tues a.m. ladies bible study. Even after a full day of the conference and lots of tears, Bill and I went out on a date. We were invited to a casino party. I really wanted to go b/c it was something different than the plain ole dinner and a movie. We had fun stayed about 2.5 hours and had some good catered Mexican and a glass of wine. Today first thing Uncle Jim got into town. He spent some good time w/ the girls. We took him to the perfect Southern or Texas place...Cowboy Chow. It was yummy. Our first time to go too. We had some crzy nachos and the guys had brisket tacos. I had my heart set on ribs but they were out. S'mores to top it off...>Alexus loved it. All of this and we went to church this morng b/c Alexus moved up finally and then to our small church group for a cook out in the evening. Whew...and I'm still up?? Must be adreneline. Eva is starting to giggle and just rolling back n forth.
