ON Friday, REgina and I took our girls to the North Pole express. I debated even going b/c it didn't seem that fun the year before when we went. I guess b/c of the girls age it was really fun. The girls sang and danced plus really wanted to speak with Santa. I got some great video of it also...to be posted soon.
Then Saturday, we had Regina's youngest daughter's bday at McDonalds. We were an hour late. I swore it started at noon but I guess I confused it with Alexus's coming up. So we showed up for the last half hour but I'm glad they stuck around til 1:30 to play. She had a great time with Ashley and Tayler Grace. Then we ordered her bday cake for this weekend. Yum can't wait. Sat night we attempted to do the NRH HOlidays event but it was SO COLD. We did the craft tent and the train and waited for tube but it alex started shivering so we left about after an hour. No pics...n I told her it was too cold for Santa. Little does she know that he lives in the North Pole, right?
Sunday we went to church before bill left town and then weent to my favorite Italian restr on the way to my cousin's twin two year olds party. It was fun but Alexus didn't really get to play that much with her cousins. I think they were trying to remember who she is and we didn't stay long. Sunday night I took her to the church we are taking for bible study and we saw the best play by the five to 6 graders called Little Hang Ups. It was all about Christmas ornaments and how they were fighting over which means more to the owners of the tree. Then Joseph fromthe nativity scene explained the whole meaning of Christmas, trees and decorations. There were 170 kids in the play and they did little dances wit their songs and Alexus just loved it. SHe kept talking about going up there to see baby Jesus. I'm so glad I took her.
If you have the time to watch all 14 minutes of the video, the end is super cute of Alexus singing and performing Santa is coming to town. Sorry that the camera orientation flips some during but I thought I could edit it but haven't figured out how.
