I love how Alexus surprised me the other day and named every single fruit of the spirit from the Bible. I got teary eyed b/c she goes to church almost every Sun and Wed night and a Bible based school but I'm bad about reading the bible to her and helping her remember scripture. So she doesn't talk much bout Jesus and the Bible. She had a little song she sang that helped her remember but I was so proud. Mother's day started rough b/c the baby coughing from 4am to 6 b/4 I got her up and gave her medicine kept me up and of course worried me turns out bill had the other monitor and he was up too. I was disappointed that we couldn't go as a family to church and I'd have to sit by myself on mother's day. THe baby was super tired by 8am and then I took alexus to church n went to McD to get some breakfast and the van wouldn't start. Luckily a gentlman tried to jump it and tested batter but it was starter. Bill came and got me then Alexus and were able to get in at FS to have the starter replaced for $650 w/ towing. My gosh that was rough. I was ungrateful in the morning so I felt God was speaking to me about the fruits and remembering them b/c it could be worse and got worse. Day turned out better as we got car squared away so Alexus and I went shopping. I bought two Vera Bradley hipster purses and then picked up car went shopping at Michaels and met GG and Grammy at a mexican restr to exchange gifts and visit. Though our 'tea party' reservations didn't work out I'm glad we got to see them. I also wanted to get lots of pics w/ me n girls n granny, mom n girls but we all looked so tired and me worn from crying earlier.
I treasure the things the girls made for me at school or eva's at Ms. Debbie and scanned them for the blog. I find comical what Alexus said as some of her answers.
