Lets see. Tuesday very early a.m. we had this artic blast, with lots of sleet and ice. They closed school but it was incredibly cold like mid teens. So we stayed home and went almost crazy. Though we had no more snow or rain Wednesday, the temps stayed low low low and the ice stayed but Bill drove very well to starbucks so w/ Eva so sick, we asked her caregiver if alexus could come over n play in case we had to take eva to urgent care or e.r. her dr. was closed and the morning went horrible for her. She wouldn't eat or drink anything and was so fussy. The power went off and I freaked out. Luckily I could text and facebook so I learned of the rolling blackouts due to the power grid demands. I was so worried about her and being able to make it to urgent care. Luckily before bill returned from taking alexus to ms. debbie's , eva's nurse from peds called and asked how she was. What an answered prayer! She said the other dr would be there n could see her after 1pm. we slowly made our way and observed lots of cars slippin n sliding. She got a shot two shots of antibiotics. We ate at fuzzy yum. And watched two people slide in a ditch or medium. Alexus had a great day's at Debbie's We were so grateful. The following day eva was much better. less fussy eating etc. I had to get out of the house. Even though it was still extremely icy on the roads near our subdivision the highways were clear from the traffic so went ot work 6 hours. While ea stayed w/ her daddy at home to rest and Debbie took alexus again. The following night/early early morning we got a couple inches of snow. It was beautiful and the roads were worse b/c it snow on the ice and school was closed for the FOURTH day in a row. That's a record for texas. The girls both got on their snow gear just for a few pics. Eva didn't like being the michelln tire man. The snow was just beautiful coming down. She was fussy and didn't like the cold snow. Eva took one nap and both girls went to debbie from lunch til 4so bill could work since he hadn't got much in the days before. I got to scrapbook about 90% OF A snow page. It wasn't the blizzard that Nana had though. they had almost two feet of snow and the pics were incredible in the news.
