Ultrasound confirmed we are having another girl!

Yesterday, we went for our 20 week ultrasound exam and they confirmed baby is a girl. Alexus was so excited when I told her that she covered her mouth and gasped for air. SHe keeps pointing to my belly when I am dressing and says, 'look the baby is getting bigger'. I would say yep it is. Also, I would say that over the past two weeks I've definitely felt the baby moving. I've said this once or more and say it again. God is an awesome God. The ultrasound is so evident of that. Though it was hard for us to tell, they were showing us parts of the heart, brain, stomach, etc. They turned on color to show the blood flow through the kidneys. It was amazing that so much is going on in something so tiny. She is 15 oz. I feel this is sort of surreal. Since I was an only child and so was my mom, I thought Alexus might be too. I'm so excited that she'll get to experience a sibling...something Bill and i have never known. Bill was glad that he didn't have to think of any more names b/c he's only considered girl names to this point. Since I had Alexus picked out before she was born, he's picking this name. Two of the half dozen he chose I liked so it looks like we'll be going with those for first and middle name. Closer to the due date we may reveal the name but I liked having something be a surprise when the baby arrives.

Not sure if you have noticed I haven't post as many pics. I've been having trouble with my laptop and every time i load more than one pic, it locks up on me and and I have to reboot it. Very frustrating. Hopefully we'll get it fixed and update this blog like I used to.
