Another Busy Weekend

We had another very busy weekend. Friday I took Alex to a trial gymnastics class. I really liked the teacher and she seemed to love him and the class but he was a sub. We'll try another place on Tuesday. Though I want her in dance this year, I think she'd enjoy gymnastics more. We went to CFA for lunch and then to a park with Shannon and her sister. We went over to their house and they had a really good time together. I loved their home. I'd love to live in that subdivision. Saturday, Alex was up way too early so I took her to Dunkin Ds to try the fall specialties they have now. They pumpkin muffins were so yummy. She didn't care for the fall munchkins though. THen to the store and home by 8am (see we were up early). We drove to FW for a funeral. A good friend/coworker from Bill's work passed at only 55. Him and his wife attended our wedding and we always enjoyed their company. He was a really good guy so it is very sad. The funeral Sat morning was nice. Unfortunately, we didn't get to give condolences to the wife afterwards or the viewing. We went to Bill's work picnic and he played 3 or 4 games of volleyball. Alexus and I hung out and played while he played. Then, to my work's fall festival. Alex slept through the costume contest and was so pooped after waking up from a cat nap, she didn't do any of the bounce houses. There were some pretty neat ones there. On to home and she went over to a neighbors for about an hour while we registered for benefits. Looks like to have baby number two with his new work plan it will cost over $1500 compared to the $25 it cost to have Alex. Can you believe that difference? Sunday was another crazy day. I took Alex to the pumpkin patch with a train to meet our friends Ashley and Tayler Grace but we were about an hour ahead of them. Turns out they were at the other pumpkin patch. Anyways, we left that one and drove 10 min or less to the other one to meet up with her friends. Even though it was cool and cloudy, it was SO crowded. They did the small maze, jumped in the bounce houses, and rode the little train car. We had lunch and headed to the air show. We got there about an hour before the last main event...the blue angels. We sat in the LM tent for the first time. It was really neat. Alex seemed to enjoy it. Whew, were we pooped. I'm looking to resting at work on Monday!
