Life with a toddler

I forgot to tell you about a funny thing (now its funny) that Alexus did the Sunday Bill was out of town. Alexus and I had just gotten back from dinner out and she wanted to use our bathroom. I was laying on the couch due to my back. After awhile I thought she is taking too long, something is up and I should go in there. Well eventually she came and got me, pulled me up and said mommy you need to come look. We walked in there together and sure enough she had over stuffed the toilet with tp or wipes and toilet had flooded our bathroom. About an inch of water had already gotten out to the vanity area. I think it took 6 beach towels to get it dry. I was livid. And she knew she was in trouble too. The only punishment I gave her was no read and rock that night. She knew how much trouble she was in b/c she didn't even cry, whine or argue about her punishment. That's unusual. It made me think of the time I spilled iodine on my our couch when I was little.I was in a heap of trouble for that one. But I was probably much older.
